About
When a client calls with a question, Teresa Gonzalez makes sure they leave with a clear answer and a clear next step. As a Case Manager at Haque Law, PLLC, she guides clients through every stage of their personal injury claims, keeping cases organized, deadlines met, and clients informed.
Before joining Haque Law, Teresa served as a Legal Assistant at two Houston law firms, including a high-volume personal injury practice. She gathered medical records and bills, set up first-party and third-party insurance claims, and prepared cases for demand. She handled lost wage documentation, subrogation, and disputes involving private health insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare, and she resolved hospital and child support liens. Earlier in her career, she drafted petitions, prepared files for trial, and managed attorney calendars.
Today, Teresa works closely with the firm’s attorneys, medical records team, and settlement team to move each case forward. She knows what a strong demand requires, and she makes sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Teresa earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Houston Downtown. She understands the legal process, and she understands people. An injury disrupts more than a client’s health. It affects their work, their family, and their peace of mind, and Teresa meets every client with patience and genuine care.
She is pursuing her paralegal certification and studying for the LSAT, with plans to attend law school. Her drive to grow is matched only by her commitment to the clients she serves today.
Teresa’s son Dominic, age 6, plays baseball, and she is his loudest fan in the stands. When she isn’t cheering for Dominic, she’s cheering for the Astros and the Texans. She also loves a good book and a new travel destination, but Houston is where her heart is.
