About
When a claim gets complicated, Norka Vera is the one who knows how to move it forward. As a Case Manager at Haque Law, PLLC, she guides clients through every stage of their personal injury claims. She builds strong cases, negotiates hard with insurers, and keeps clients informed from intake to settlement.
Norka brings eight years of personal injury experience. Most recently, she supervised 12 case managers at a Houston personal injury firm, auditing files, setting performance targets, and training staff to deliver five-star client service. Before that, she consulted for small personal injury firms, handling catastrophic injury cases and recovering 40 percent of claims insurers had already denied. Earlier, she managed a prelitigation caseload of 140 auto, premises, and workplace injury cases and wrote demands.
She also brings a skill few case managers have: formal training in collision investigation through the Texas Forensic Science Academy at Texas A&M Engineering. She can break down how a crash happened and explain it in plain language. Norka works closely with the firm’s attorneys, medical records team, and settlement team to investigate liability, document damages, and build demands that get results. She serves clients in English and Spanish.
Norka studied engineering before earning her Bachelor of Arts in English from Binghamton University, State University of New York, and holds her Paralegal Certification from the Center for Advanced Legal Studies in Houston. She is now pursuing her Collision Reconstruction certification. She never stops learning, and every new skill makes her a stronger advocate for her clients.
At home, Norka and her two boys stay on the move. They rollerblade, cook, travel, hike the mountains, and paddleboard on the river. Layla, her French Bulldog, and Dobby, her Chihuahua, round out the family and firmly run the household. Wherever the next adventure leads, Houston is home.
