About
When a case heads to the courtroom, Kimmie-Ko McElrath makes sure the attorneys walk in ready for anything. She brings more than 12 years of litigation experience to Haque Law, PLLC, supporting the firm’s attorneys on personal injury cases in both state and federal court.
Her experience spans the full life of a case, from client intake and treatment coordination to demand packages and medical summaries. Her strength is litigation. She drafts petitions, answers, and motions, manages discovery, keeps rigorous docket control, and prepares critical pretrial filings. Her trial notebooks keep every detail within reach when it matters most.
Kimmie-Ko also spent two years in insurance defense, giving her a clear view of how the other side builds its case. That perspective now works for our clients. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, which lets her connect directly with the many Houston families the firm serves.
She holds an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Technology from Houston City College, formerly Houston Community College.
Away from the office, Kimmie-Ko loves time with her husband and their three boys. She is also a devoted history buff and antique hunter, a fitting hobby for a litigation paralegal. Both reward patience, exhaustive research, and a knack for uncovering hidden facts.
