About Mahmood
Mahmood Haque is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Haque Law, PLLC, a personal injury and healthcare law firm with two Houston locations and a team of more than 15 professionals. Known to clients and colleagues as “The Hawk,” Mahmood built his practice around a simple belief: your recovery is personal, and your representation should be too.
Before practicing law, Mahmood spent a decade inside the healthcare industry. He served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Hospital, Chief Executive Officer of Woodlands Specialty Hospital, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Providence Hospital, and Executive Chief Operating Officer of Emergency Hospital Systems, LLC. In those roles he oversaw cost control, physician and employee relations, facility operations, and policy administration at the highest levels of hospital leadership.
That background shapes everything about how Haque Law represents injured clients today. Mahmood understands medical records the way most attorneys understand case law. He knows how hospitals bill, how providers document, and how insurance carriers try to discount pain into pennies. When he builds a case, he builds it from inside the system, not outside looking in.
Earlier in his career, Mahmood helped develop and manage fourteen multi-specialty clinics, guided owners through revenue growth, and built the policies and protocols that kept those operations running. He also worked as a healthcare consultant across clinics and urgent care operations, including managing the full construction cycle of new facilities.
Today, Mahmood dedicates the majority of his time to securing justice for people whose lives have been upended by someone else’s negligence. Every client carries a different injury, a different story, and a different road to recovery. His job is to meet them where they are and fight for what comes next.
